Cisco Unveils AI Insights Ahead of LEAP 2025 in Saudi Arabia: AI Strategies, Investments, and Challenges in KSA.

By TN Media News | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia:

As excitement builds for LEAP 2025 in Riyadh, Cisco has released its AI Readiness Index, offering a detailed look into Saudi Arabia’s AI landscape. The report highlights both the progress and the pressing challenges organizations face as they integrate AI technologies.

Strong AI Ambitions, But Barriers Persist:

According to Cisco’s research, 72% of Saudi businesses have developed clear strategies for deploying AI-powered solutions. However, 50% are allocating 10–30% of their IT budgets to AI but still report underwhelming returns.

Despite these investments, 60% of companies believe they have only 12 months to show tangible AI outcomes, or they risk business setbacks.

Infrastructure and Talent Gaps:

A major challenge identified is infrastructure readiness. 31% of companies lack essential components like GPUs to support current and future AI workloads. This shortfall could severely impact deployment efforts and innovation capacity.

In addition, 39% of organizations report a shortage of in-house AI expertise, and only 46% feel their workforce is prepared for comprehensive AI integration. This talent gap is a key concern in meeting long-term digital transformation goals.

Cisco’s Commitment to Vision 2030:

Commenting on the findings, Salman Faqeeh, Managing Director of Cisco Saudi Arabia, said:

Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of embracing AI as a driver of digital transformation. Cisco remains committed to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

At LEAP 2025, Cisco will demonstrate its latest AI-driven technologies, focusing on AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital resilience. The company’s showcase will emphasize transforming data centers, modernizing workplaces, and preparing businesses for a rapidly evolving digital future.

Cisco’s AI Readiness Index, based on feedback from nearly 8,000 global business leaders, highlights a clear path forward: increased collaboration, infrastructure upgrades, and talent development. These elements are essential for unlocking AI’s full potential across Saudi Arabia’s public and private sectors.

As LEAP 2025 approaches, all eyes will be on how businesses respond to the AI readiness challenge—and how Cisco will help lead the way.
