Jeddah (By Noor-ul-Hassan Gujjar): A collective Fateha Khwani was organized at the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah for the Esaal-e-Sawab of the late Khan Muhammad Chaudhry, father of Press Counselor Irfan Chaudhry.
The event saw a large gathering, including Consul General Jeddah Khalid Majeed, consulate officials, and notable members of the Pak-Saudi community. Representatives from various political, social, welfare, and journalistic organizations also attended the occasion. The attendees conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Irfan Chaudhry, praying for the elevation of Khan Muhammad Chaudhry’s ranks in the hereafter and for his forgiveness.
In his address, Consul General Khalid Majeed highlighted the unity of the Pakistani community in Jeddah, particularly in times of both joy and sorrow. He expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Irfan Chaudhry’s father, offering prayers for the deceased’s eternal peace and a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. He also prayed for strength and patience for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
Press Counselor Irfan Chaudhry, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to all those who attended the gathering. He thanked the community and consulate colleagues for their support and solidarity. Irfan shared that his late father had always stressed the significance of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) and pledged to continue his father’s mission and teachings.
The event concluded with a collective prayer for the departed soul.
